Ben Walker, Preaching Minister
Ben is passionate about discipleship and Christian apologetics. After attending Cincinnati Christian University from 1994-1997 Ben transferred to Miami University where he finished his B.A. with majors in Sociology, Philosophy, and Comparative Religion. He served as an associate minister and head of student ministries at Northern Hills Christian Church from September of 2000 to June of 2020, and began serving with Christ’s Fellowship in September of 2015, where he transitioned to a full time preaching ministry position in June of 2020.
Ben and his wife Lisa have been married since 1997 and have two birth children, one child by adoption, and are actively involved in foster care. Beyond the ministry Ben is passionate about coffee, Mystery Science Theater 3000 and its various spin-offs, gaming (tabletop and to a lesser degree, video games), he plays drums and the banjo, and delights in reading from a variety of different genres.
Rachel Anderson, Worship Minister
Rachel is passionate about worship and bringing others to worship our Lord. She received a Bachelor Degree in Music with an emphasis in Piano Performance from Cincinnati Christian University. Her ministry experience includes serving as a Music Director since 2000 and she has been serving at Christ’s Fellowship since 2008. Rachel and Steve have been married since 1995. They have four wonderful children.
Melissa Puckett, Children’s Minister
Melissa is passionate about helping children come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. She also loves to train, develop, and encourage the teachers and leaders who serve alongside her in the ministry. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education K-4, with an Endorsement in 5-8 English Communications, from Eastern Kentucky University, in 1997. She received a Master’s of Educational Leadership Degree from Nova Southeastern University and an Intervention Specialist Licensure K-12 Mild/Moderate, from Miami University.
Along with Children’s Ministry at CFLM, Melissa teaches full-time in the Little Miami School District, as an Intervention Specialist and she runs a tutoring business, part-time during the summer. In the classroom and through Tailored Tutoring Melissa strives to help students become successful and lifelong learners, that love to learn. Melissa’s ministry experiences include leading Sunday School, providing assistance and curriculum for teachers, coordinating VBS, helping with children’s choirs, and many other events inside the church. She has been serving at Christ’s Fellowship since 2015.
Melissa is married to Robert Puckett and they have been married since May of 1998. They moved from Melbourne, Florida in 2005 and they have lived in Morrow, OH area since that time. They have two daughters, Elizabeth and Hannah, and a cat named Tails.
